Here are a couple of shots Scott grabbed, while Jesse was 'playing' around the house. He is definately a climber!
Scott grabbed this video of Jesse playing in the kitchen and dancing to music. I love his dancing. It makes me think that he got his moves from his father.
Subhead
In 2006, Scott and I moved to New Hampshire. But as time passed, our family grew. In 2010, we welcomed our son Jesse. Our little Lady Becca graced us in 2013.
With our lives happening at least 700 miles away from family and life-long friends, we love for you to follow along with us as our little ones grow.

Diaper Changes
Lately, Jesse has become very restless when I change his diaper. He is only like this for me. For Scott, he will just lay there. So I have had to become very unique in ways of entertaining him during diaper changes. This includes playing the games 'where does the diaper go' and 'where does Jesse's pants go'. Scott grabbed a photo of the second one.
Yes...those are Jesse's pants on my head. I may look silly, but I would rather look silly than be covered in poo!

Play Group Christmas Party
On Saturday, December 10th, Jesse's play group celebrated birthdays for the December babies. It was a birthday/Christmas party. It was nice seeing everyone. The kids are getting soo big! This is the group of Mom's that I took the prenatal swim/yoga classes with.
Calef's General Store and The Christmas Dove
On Sunday, December 11th, we decided to finally visit a few of New Hampshire's iconic landmarks, Calef's General Store and The Christmas Dove. I say finally, because it is about 10 minutes from our house, in Barrington, NH, yet it has taken us 6 years before visiting.
The Kosnik's and Heaton's made the trek. It was cool to see. Calef's is 'A New Hampshire Tradition since 1869' and The Christmas Dove is 'New England's largest Christmas store'.
Here is a photo of Jesse sitting with Santa, at the Christmas Dove. It was his first interaction with a life size Santa. As you notice, it was a statue. But he was happy!

Weekend of Christmas Festivities
On Friday, December 16th, we attended our first Christmas party of the year. It was at the Pearlman's house. It was a kid friendly party. We were a little nervous, as it started at 7 PM. (This is getting close to Jesse's bedtime.) But he was in great spirits the whole time. We left at 9:30 and he fell asleep in the car on the ride home. Thanks Tasha for a great time!
On Saturday, December 17, Scott and I used a babysitter for the first time. We had a Christmas party at one of Scott's old colleagues. It was good to see Steve and Lisa.
We put the baby to bed, before we left. When we got home, Jesse was awake. And Eliza thought she was going to have an easy evening. :o)

Our little helper
Jesse's fascination with the dishwasher hasn't ended. It has only grown. He LOVES to help empty out the dishwasher. Our dishwasher beeps whenever it is opened or closed. He comes running into the kitchen, if he hears that beep.
Emptying the clean dishes has become a task to do with Jesse. The routine goes as such. Jesse goes into the bathroom, sets up his stool and washes his hands. He then runs into the kitchen and helps to open the dishwasher. He waits while we remove all of the knives and then he carefully hands us the silverware, followed by the plates and the dishes. He even helps to carry the item to the appropriate cabinet. The only hard part is keeping him occupied some where else in the house, while you load the dirty dishes. He is allowed back into the kitchen to pick a dishwasher detergent tab to use for this load. Mom or Dad opens the detergent tab and puts it in the detergent tray, while Jesse helps to close the tray. He then has to help close the dishwasher! Task complete!

Graduated to using a fork
On Saturday December 3rd, Jesse officially used a fork by himself for the 1st time. At first, he would just stab anything and everything. It has gotten better. For the most part, if he is being stubborn, he will now take almost anything, as long as it is on a fork.
Jesse mastered using a spoon by himself at the beginning of January. Now it is just a matter of how dirty we want to let him get, as to if we use the spoon or does he.

I'm really behind...sorry!
I have fallen behind even farther than my normal monthly update. Keep posted, more photos are coming!
