Subhead

In 2006, Scott and I moved to New Hampshire. But as time passed, our family grew. In 2010, we welcomed our son Jesse. Our little Lady Becca graced us in 2013.

With our lives happening at least 700 miles away from family and life-long friends, we love for you to follow along with us as our little ones grow.

Bath time

More black mail pictures for when Jesse is older...

Standing on his own

On Tuesday, November 22, while I was at work, Jesse learned to stand up on his own.  Scott got it on video for me.

Nubble Light House

On Sunday, November 20th, it was unseasonably warm.  So we decided to go do some sight seeing.  We have never been to the Nubble light house in York, Maine.  It is very picturesque.

Thanksgiving Cards

On Saturday, November 19th, Jesse and I did finger painting.  We created cards for Thanksgiving.  This is the after affect of it.

Twice the Fun in Dover

Scott and Morgan took the kids to Twice the Fun in Dover.  It is an indoor playground.  The kids had fun.

Taking Turns

One of Emma's and Jesse's favorite past times is to push each other around.  Jesse is walking, but Emma isn't walking on her own yet.  However, it doesn't slow her down.

Playing with/Pushing Emma

This is from the middle of November.  These two really do loving pushing each other around.  We just need to work on the steering.

Jesse playing on his truck

We got Jesse a battery operated semi-truck and trailer for his birthday.  He loves it!  Here are a few of pics of him playing on it.

Grandma Visits New Hampshire

Grandma Shelia was slated to visit us during the power outage.  She rescheduled and came to visit us from Saturday, November 5th through Saturday, November 12th.  While she was here, we went up to the Kangamangus highway, in the north country.  We went hiking at the basin.  We had a good time.

Playing in the bathtub

In October, Jesse started to enjoy putting his face in the water during his bath time.  Of course, once I grabbed the camera, he really did do it again.  He is still enjoying putting his chin and nose underwater.  However, he is still learning to keep his mouth shut when he does this.

Just this week (begining of December) he has started to deliberately put his ears in the water.  It is too cute!

Halloween

Typically, we have a TON of trick or treaters.  This year, due to the snow and power outages, not so many.  Our development/town was slated to have trick or treating on Sunday evening.  We had planned for weeks for some friends to come over and we all go together.  Even though we had no power, we still decided to go out.

AJ and Lucy (football player and cheerleader) and Emma (Amelia Earhart) joined Jesse (fighter pilot).  We had dinner made in the crock pot (with the generator) and then we were off.  Scott modified Jesse's wagon, to turn it into an airplane for Amelia and our little fighter pilot.  It was complete with running lights (glo-sticks).  The streets were bare, but we still had a good time.  Unfortunately, we didn't get any pictures of all four of the kids together.  Blame it on the lack of light.

After the fact, we learned that trick or treating had been moved to Monday evening.  So we decided to stop over at a few additional neighbors, so they could see Jesse.  We got out of the house early enough for pictures before hand. Thank you Dale for taking the pictures of all three of us, in the snow.

1st Nor'easter of the season

Over the Halloween weekend, we got our first snow storm.  A nor'easter hit on Saturday afternoon, October 29th.  We got 14 inches of snow in about 12 hours.

On Saturday evening, we lost power.  We went without power until Tuesday evening.  If loosing power wasn't enough, during this power outage, we had company over to go trick or treating and my little brother Dale came into town for a few days.

Here are a few pictures of Jesse getting a bath in the kitchen sink, with water warmed on the firebox during the power outage.

My birthday video

Scott and Jesse got me a new video camera for my birthday.  Of course, Scott had to try it out, before he gave it to me.  While he was playing with it, he took this video.

At 12:01 AM on my birthday, he showed me this video on his tablet.  (Don't ask me why we were still up that late.)  Naive me, thought he took it with the camera on his tablet.  It wasn't until later that day, after a good night's sleep, that I opened my present, to reveal the truth.

This video melts me, every time I watch it!  It was a fluke.  No planning was involved in shooting this video.

View at Adam's Point

Scott took this video, while hiking.  Thought I would share the view, without you have to do the walking.

My 31st Birthday Hike

I didn't work on my birthday.  So we decided to go for a hike, late in the afternoon.  We invited Morgan and Emma to join us, as she was off work that day too.  We went for a hike at Adam's Point in Durham.  It is a really nice, hidden park.  We hiked about half of the trail, before sunset.  It takes you around the bay and was a really pretty hike.

I really enjoyed it!  I think everyone did.  Bear definitely enjoyed it too!
